24 days to go
Greetings registrants for the 2010 Iron Horse Bicycle Classic. In the past 10 days we have experienced significant technical issues with our web host and email provider. All seems to be working again but if things on our site seemed out of sort or we were slow with email responses that was the primary issue.
We are 24 days from the Train whistle and all is shaping up nicely. For those who are not familiar with the course and profile please visit the Durango Coca Cola Road Race page and click on profile.
A reminder that if you ar looking for lodging in Durango to do it soon, things will be full.
Those that ordered jerseys as part of their registration, you will receive them at packet pickup Friday May 28th from 2-9pm. Any jerseys not picked up will be mailed post event. If you did not order one but are interested contact Mountain Bike Specialists at 970 247 4066. They have a limited amount.
Keep in mind we are having a bike and gear swap May 28th located near packet pickup. There will be great items to purchase and if you are interested in selling some of your gear contact Sarah Tescher 970 779 8480. All proceeds go to Durango Devo, our local junior cycling program.
We have a few fun events off the bike over the weekend. On Saturday night May 29th, Durang Devo will be showing 'Hell on Wheels" a film on the Tour De France. We will get more info out as we get closer. We also will have live music during the Morehart/Murphy Criterium on Sunday May 30th. Along with the live music we will have two beer gardens hosted by the Irish Embassy and Steamworks/Ska as well as the Durano Discovery Museum Solar Roller for the kids. All proceeds from the Beer Gardens and giveaways we have that day go to our primary beneficiary Mercy Breast Cancer Center.
Look for more updates coming.
Thanks
