- Purgatory Resort has a fantastic festival planned for all Quarter Horse riders, their families, friends and guests. Plenty of food and entertainment will be available so make sure you stick a credit card or some cash in your jersey before setting out for your ride. A reminder to your family, friends and guests, that the road closure for the ride continuing to Silverton begins just past the Purgatory Resort entrance from 8:30am to 1:30pm.
- --A manned bike check will also be available so that you can secure your bike, change clothes and enjoy the festival.

Return TransportationPurgatory Resort will offer transportation on race day according to the schedule below. The cost of the shuttle is $25 from Purgatory to Durango, and $40 from Silverton to Durango. Guests must make their shuttle reservations no later than Friday, May 20th by calling Dispatch at (970) 426-7282.
6:00 AM from Purgatory to Durango Transit Center, arriving 6:45 AM
Note: The shuttle must depart promptly in order to allow the van sufficient time to return to Purgatory before the Highway 550 closure.
12:30 PM from Purgatory to Durango Transit Center, arriving 1:15 PM
1:00 PM from Silverton to Purgatory, arriving 2:00PM
2:15 PM from Purgatory to Durango Transit Center, arriving 3:00 PM
Purgatory will have a truck at Buckley Park on Friday from 3 - 7pm for riders to drop off bags that they wish to have transported up to Purgatory Resort. The bags will be secured overnight and will be available on race morning at the Quarter Horse finish line.
