What:

Citizens 50 mile tour from Durango to Silverton. Take off with the train, traveling over two 10,000ft mountain passes enroute to the historical mining town of Silverton. Riders do not need a racing license and will not be officially timed. This is a tour. There are four aid stations with food and water along the route. There is no technical support on course. 27 miles of the route are closed roads.

** All riders must be past Coal Bank Pass Summit by 12:00pm and Molas Pass by 12:40pm. Riders not past those points will be transported by bus to Silverton, and their bikes will be trucked. Riders who need more that 4 hours 45 minutes to complete the ride are encouraged to do the early bird start at 7:00am. Roads open to vehicles at 1:00pm and all riders must be off by then!

$70 Field limit 1300 riders

Return Transportation

Riders who need return transportation from Silverton can purchase a bus or train return trip. Bikes are also transported. Charge is $20, and space is limited. Riders are not allowed to ride back from Silverton.
